Muller's Smart Carts were patented in 1976 by Brig. General Henry Muller in Santa Barbara, CA. The orginal product was designed to satisfy the needs of horse owners who needed a strong, durable & maneuverable device to withstand the harsh acids of barn waste and still be efficient among the narrow stalls. The SMART CART was an immediate success and was readily embraced by the garden industry, marinas, and contractors looking for a quality product that would last for many years. We still get calls from customers who need parts for their 15-18 year old carts. SMART CARTS have been produced in Windham, ME for the past 20 years near Sebago Lake and are distributed across the US, Canada and the UK.
