Originally designed in 1976 for horsemen who needed a strong, high-capacity cart that could stand up to rough abuse and barn acids year after year, it has become the tool of choice among gardeners, stable owners,and marinas.                      

Our carriage is hand-crafted of aircraft quality tubular aluminum alloy; lightweight and extremely strong.  Each one is satin etched and anodized for good looks and maximum weather resistance.  

Smart Carts weigh less than 50 lbs., yet support virtually anything that you can load into them!  The patented design balances heavy loads effortlessly.  Our 20" heavy-duty spoke wheels with sealed bearings and pneumatic tires roll smoothly over rough ground, or choose wide-tread 16" turf tires for maximum flotation in deep sand or mud; a favorite for moving wood, rocks, and the like.  Tip the carriage forward and the cart will stand upright so that you can rake into or dump with ease!   The Smart Cart works great in a variety of applications....how can you use it?

What makes it a "Smart" Cart?

• Our Snap Out pan allows for multiple uses of the pan itself, but most importantly there are NO bolts through the pan that would eventually rust and tear the tub as seen on other carts or wheelbarrows .......Protect the back of the car from trash or firewood, wash the dog, buy mulch or plants at the garden center just using the pan--be creative!
• The pan is Interchangeable....our 7 and 12 cubic foot pans both work in the carriage.  If you are feeding animals, one can be the 'clean' pan, the other a 'dirty' pan.  Or purchase one size now and just the tub later!
• Lightweight strength.  You won't have to work hard to push our cart or even pick it up...The strength of our aluminum carriage make this a workhorse that is easily handled.  And aluminum doesn't rust!
• Our axle is plated (level Black) steel and the (powder coated) steel cross brace accomodates both the 16" and  20" tires.  You can both styles of wheels now or later with no issues of compatibility.
• Replaceable steel Skid Plates on the bottom of the legs eliminate wear.  Check the competition for this key attention to detail!
